This year’s theme states succinctly what Christian men are supposed to do (Man Up!) and how the world/society is treating men (a man-down world).
Joshua 24:14a encourages us, “Fear the Lord and serve him wholeheartedly and faithfully” (EHV). Joshua was delivering his “farewell sermon” to the Israelites, encouraging them to “man up” by honoring the LORD, removing spiritual distractions, and keeping focused on a life of grateful, devoted service to God. Joshua urged the people to make God-pleasing use of their sanctified free will by choosing to serve the LORD, not false gods, and by being faithful to the LORD, not foolishly pursuing their sinful whims of the past. Without being prideful, Joshua directed the people to observe himself and his own family as examples, by saying, “As for me and my household – we will serve the LORD!”

God’s 20/20 Vision
for Your Future

Has your life worked out just as you envisioned? When we’re younger, we have hopes and dreams and plans for the future. Sometimes those plans for hope and a future come to reality; often they do not. Because of our limited vision, even our best laid plans fail. Because of sin in and all around us, life doesn’t work out the way we often hope. There is only one who has perfect 20/20 vision for our future. It is your almighty, loving Savior God who promised, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Only your God has the perfect vision of your future, and the ability to make it happen. Join us to learn more about God’s 20/20 Vision for Your Future, both your future on earth and in heaven.
